Character Education is a program at Jeffreys Grove in which a different character trait is taught in the classroom each month by parent volunteers. Mrs. Allen, the guidance counselor, does follow-up visits to reinforce these character traits. Second thru fifth graders receive take-home sheets for parents to go over with their children.
Each month, several children that have demonstrated that month’s character trait will be selected by their teacher and recognized by having a feather on the eagle in the school lobby and their name on this webpage. All parents can help teach character education by encouraging their children to have awesome character!
