Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving competition for students of all ages. Teams of students select a problem, create a solution, then present their solution in a competition against other teams in the same problem and division.
Volunteers are needed for Odyssey of the Mind coaches, judges, and volunteers!! Each team is required to have a tournament “Judge” and a tournament “Volunteer.” The Judge is required to attend training on February 8 from 8:30 to 3:30 (lunch provided) to become a Certified Judge and must work at the tournament all day on March 1 in Chapel Hill.
The Volunteers will need to work for three-hour time slots on tournament day and do not go to the all-day training. This is a rewarding opportunity for potential Judges and Volunteers—these kids are amazing! Our teams will be penalized if we do not provide these volunteers and judges so please help if you can.
